NetmapVPN Review 2023: Challenging ? How ?

Table of Contents

Netmap VPN is a product that originated in Russia. Although Russia is not under the 14 eyes, we know that communism and privacy do not go hand in hand.

There is very little information about the company and the product on the official website and the Internetand that alone is cause for concern.

The dual VPN feature seems to be exclusive to customers. It connects users to their final destination via two servers, which in theory should make the connection more secure.

There is also a Tor connection option. The client seems to have enough content to keep users interested. In this review, we will “network” all the features and performance statistics of the product and “map” them for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you keep logs?

Logging is disabled on all VPN servers. We only store the email address you provide when you sign up.

Do you have a VPN extension for your browser?

Yes, we have developed and tested an extension that can be used in Google Chrome, FireFox and other browsers. A free VPN is also available in these apps. The VPN for Chrome and Firefox has flexible settings. You can choose between websites that are opened via VPN and websites that do not have VPN.

Bottom Line

Netmap is the equivalent of a VPN vendor with a great product but a bad vibe. On the technical side, it offers excellent encryption, great usability, and many additional features.

However, these advantages are offset by a lackluster and overly difficult setup for English-speaking users. The main target audience for this VPN is obviously Russian-speaking users. However, if you can overcome the drawbacks (and sometimes the language barrier), you will get a product with excellent features.

Overall, we do not recommend Netmap for beginners or people looking for a sophisticated VPN. Experienced users, on the other hand, will probably enjoy its various features.
