Bee VPN Review 2023

Table of Contents

BeeVPN claims to be the fastest VPN, and one of the reasons they can say that is because they don’t outsource any of their networks, so they control everything. They are also constantly improving their systems to continue to provide a fast and reliable service.

Speed Test

BeeVPN does not impose any speed or throughput restrictions on its VPN customers. The company has built an incredible foundation and claims each of its servers and devices to convey unlimited speed and throughput as much as possible without throttling or months. The speed and availability of the data transfer capacity makes it perfect for the administration to practice requirements like downloads, VOIP, gaming and dumping. What’s more, the organization permits unconstrained P2P movement through its system, so the administration can be utilized for bitrenting exercises.

Pricing and Payment Methods

First of all, BeeVPN is ridiculously expensive, and in this case, value doesn’t mean quality.

For €12 per month, BeeVPN charges €12.88 if you pay via PayPal. If you want to use it on your iPad or iPhone, you have to pay an additional €1.19 per month.

I ask you again, because this leads me to believe that if you want the convenience of paying via PayPal, you will pay more. On top of an already expensive service. For a 3-month subscription, you get a 10% discount of €23.97. Your annual level drops directly to €79.08.

BeeVPN accepts many different payment methods and you can get their service via Visa, Visa Electron, MC, Maestro, Diners Club, JCB, PayPal and Bitcoin.

They offer a range of options for those who wish to use the service. There are UK only licences for one month, three months and 12 months.

They do not offer a free trial, but they do offer a money back guarantee.

Server Locations

Not much to say here, as BeeVPN didn’t give us a full list of servers we could connect to, and even if they had, we doubt they would have given us more, as there were only four gateways (websites) we could connect to.

That is correct; you can only connect to the gateways in Paris (France), London (UK), Stockholm (Sweden) and Copenhagen (Denmark) by clicking on the “Switch to this gateway” button in the website dashboard area.

This is officially the lowest servo tool we encountered on our VPN discovery tour. beeVPN doesn’t even have servers in the US or on other continents.

User Experience

Signing up to beeVPN is simple and straightforward and requires no technical knowledge or skills. The Windows and Mac clients are also very intuitive to install and use. BeeVPN’s servers are also very fast as there are no bandwidth or connection speed limits. This VPN is not only compatible with mobile and desktop platforms, but also with other devices such as game consoles and routers.

The most interesting thing about using this VPN is trying out the “SeeitAll” feature, which allows users to access web services such as Netflix US and BBC UK without errors. This was interesting to observe as BeeVPN has no US servers but uses a gateway to bypass the VPN blocking of these providers.

However, it is disappointing that BeeVPN does not have a mobile app. You will need to use the IPsec protocol to integrate this VPN with your iOS device.

Data Backup and Encryption

According to the website, BeeVPN uses 256-bit AES encryption, per-packet encryption, and DTLS and IPSec connection protocols. If you manage to activate your account, the provider also claims to have three different firewalls, which you can check in the customer area of the website.

Some organisations can restrict the use of torrents and P2P clients by actively blocking them. beeVPN claims to be able to prevent these organisations from blocking your torrent or knowing your true identity.

We couldn’t find a privacy policy on the provider’s website, so we can’t say whether they keep logs.

Pros and Cons

  1. Allows P2P
  2. It accepts bitcoin
  1. Expensive
  2. Slow support
  3. Poor speeds
  4. No Privacy Policies or ToS
  5. Undisclosed logging policies
  6. No free or paid trial
  7. Conditional refund
  8. iOS requires additional add-on for extra money

It seems that Bee vpn focuses most of its efforts to become a dedicated vpn provider on building websites and documentation, rather than other important features. It offers good basic services, especially high-quality security and privacy, as it promises. Bee VPN has room and opportunity for improvement and needs to do so to maintain its good reputation in the VPN industry.
